OAASC is once again providing a full 6-hrs of infection prevention training leading up to our annual conference. Attendees can register as a part of the full conference, or they can participate in the preconference workshop only. Either way, you and your staff will undoubtedly benefit from this education event!

8:00 AM - 11:20 AM Morning Session:
Our preconference workshop starts with an in depth look at current important topics that such as cleaning verification for your sterile process department, visual inspection of lumened instrumentation and additional related subjects. Presented by Kevin Anderson MBA, BSN, RN, CNOR, CRCST, CHL, CIS, CER, Clinical Education Specialist with Healthmark.
11:20 AM - 12:10 PM Lunch Break
Lunch is provided for attendees.
12:10 PM - 3:20 PM Afternoon Session:
Ongoing infection control training is a must for every ASC infection control coordinator. Crowd favorite, Elethia Dean, returns to provide a training session that was recently utilized in an Ohio ASC to meet compliance with this Medicare requirement. This course is a must for every ambulatory surgery center.
