Ohio BWC Announces Provider Webinar Series

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation recently announced a new webinar series that addresses treating injured workers.  This is a monthly series and will focus on important information for medical providers and their staff.

Each month a new 30-minute session will be offered at noon and 5 p.m. with an additional 15-minute question and answer period following the presentation.

November session – treatment authorization

The series kicks off with a session titled Treatment Authorizations and You, which will cover presumptive authorization, provider expectations for requesting services, and steps to follow if services are denied. Treatment authorizations can often be misunderstood, so there's a great chance you’ll learn something new.
