Call for Nominations! OAASC Board of Trustees
OAASC is now accepting nominations to run for the Board of Trustees!
Would you like to be more involved in your association and help your state ASC industry? Running for the OAASC Board of Trustees is a wonderful way to do both things, and you don’t have to worry about being too busy! We do everything we can to be respectful of our volunteer leaders’ time and schedules. Nicole Short, one of our first-year trustees recently commented:
“As far as our jobs are concerned, being on the board is not so cumbersome and time-consuming that it will add more to all our already full plates. Obviously one can be more involved if they want, but to serve on the board isn’t a strain, all other things considered, and it is really rewarding!”
Board positions are 3-year terms and will commence January 1, 2023. If you are interested in running, please be sure to submit this nomination form to Heidi Moss at sam@oaasc.net by September 16th for consideration.
Qualified candidates will be current center members in good standing. All nominations must be approved by the current Board of Trustees and an electronic vote will take place in early October.
