Reports of Suspicious Phone Calls to COVID-19 Vaccination Providers

**SPECIAL NOTICE TO OAASC MEMBERS ENROLLED AS VACCINE PROVIDERS**

The Ohio Department of Health has received reports that some providers are receiving suspicious calls from people posing as local health commissioners or Ohio Department of Health personnel and asking prying questions about vaccine allocation and shipment details.

ODH wants providers to be aware that this is occurring and asks that you exercise extreme caution with these contacts and the information you are sharing about vaccine allocations. If you are unsure about a contact, please take extra time to verify who the person is before providing them with information. If you are still uncertain, please call the department's Provider Call Center to confirm the identity of the person who has made the inquiry.

If you have any questions or issues, please call the ODH Provider Call Center between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at 1-844-9ODHVAX (1-844-963-4829) or email COVIDVACCINE@odh.ohio.gov. You also may visit the ODH COVID-19 Vaccine Provider Information Training page for additional information and resources.
